    Elliot Valdez is a dedicated community leader and candidate for the Georgia House of Representatives in District 139. With a deep commitment to the values of the Democratic Party and a lifelong passion for serving others, Elliot is running to ensure that every resident of our district, regardless of their background, has a strong, authentic voice in the State Capitol.

  • Elliot is proud to have received the highest number of Democratic primary votes ever cast for a Hispanic candidate in this geographic area, dating back to before 2000. This milestone represents a historic shift toward inclusive representation and a mandate for a new era of leadership in our district.

  • Our district is a vibrant tapestry of cultures and backgrounds. For too long, the diversity of our community hasn't been fully reflected in the halls of power. By electing a representative who understands the unique challenges and strengths of the Hispanic community, we ensure that policy decisions are made with a full understanding of the people they actually affect.

  • You are correct. Due to the redistricting process that occurs every ten years following the census, the boundaries and numbering of our legislative districts change. While this area was previously part of District 134, it is now designated as District 139. Despite the change in number, the needs of our community remain the same, and Elliot is committed to representing this geographic area with a deep respect for its history.
